
Yesterday, I began making snacks for my daughter to have extra at daycamp. She is starving all of the time. Her metabolism is off the charts.
I took a picture so tomorrow I change it up a bit, and figured hey, I will post it to my blog.
Morning Snack – Kiwi, Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries & a hard boiled egg.
Afternoon Snack – Juice, crackers, turkey, Cheese, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks and raspberry vinaigrette for dip.
I threw in the granola bar as extra, and included her water to have with breakfast and as needed.
Before school she had a bowl of cereal. I know when she is picked up later she will want another snack before dinner.
I guess it’s great she is a good eater, all I can do is guide her in the healthy path. It is hard since I just want to throw it and go, but doing so incurs additional cost, and unneeded calories and junk food.
