Protected: SNOWBALL & SALLY: 6 months old, spayed female domestic shorthairs, 4 lbs. (Snowball) and 5 lbs. (Sally)
I have been changing. My husband and I stuck our hands together and began turning this ship around.
By the Grace of God and finding our souls once more by trusting in him we have improved our relationship, we have become better parents and here we are.
Blessed for sure.
I hope to write more about my journey soon. I have a ton of ideas and I have found my voice.
This is the day the Lord hath made, Rejoice and be glad in it.
Yesterday, I began making snacks for my daughter to have extra at daycamp. She is starving all of the time. Her metabolism is off the charts.
I took a picture so tomorrow I change it up a bit, and figured hey, I will post it to my blog.
Morning Snack – Kiwi, Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries & a hard boiled egg.
Afternoon Snack – Juice, crackers, turkey, Cheese, cucumber sticks, carrot sticks and raspberry vinaigrette for dip.
I threw in the granola bar as extra, and included her water to have with breakfast and as needed.
Before school she had a bowl of cereal. I know when she is picked up later she will want another snack before dinner.
I guess it’s great she is a good eater, all I can do is guide her in the healthy path. It is hard since I just want to throw it and go, but doing so incurs additional cost, and unneeded calories and junk food.
It’s the first post. The one I have been meaning to type since October 2010 when I signed up for this blog.
I plan to share recipes, home stuff, rant, muse over the passing of my Mother in September 2010. My life has changed so drastically and so many holes have been punched in my heart in the last six months, I feel like I am walking with a swiss cheese heart.
I love to talk, I love to share, I love to get to know people. I have a toddler, she’s funny, she’s smart – I love to talk about her and share her randomness.
I hope I can inspire, make you laugh, etc.
The first post…. hope it didn’t suck too bad.
